P&S Vice President | AFO Project | DETALKS

P&S Detailing Products were the primary products used on the 2017 Air Force One Detailing project. Specifically, the Renny Doyle Double Black lineup! Levis Gates sits down with P&S Vice President Dave Phillips to discuss their products and the project at hand! P&S is a small company that has made a BIG impact in the detailing industry. Creating Renny Doyle's signature detailing line was an awesome way to incorporate science and experience. Paint Gloss Spray N Shine and Bead Maker were the weapons of choice for the AFO detailing project. The products were simple to use and very effective for a waterless wash and protecting the paint of AFO. Kyle Clark - Scangrip Rep | AFO Project | DETALKS

Scangrip color match lighting has been gaining some serious popularity in the detailing community. Levi Gates sits down with AFO Detailer and Scangrip Representative Kyle Clark to discuss his role in the industry. What is Scangrip? Scangrip is a color match lighting system that essentially mimics sunlight. This lighting allows detailers to see imperfections and swirls in automotive paint for superior correction. Paint and body shops can also use the light for color matching paint and getting the correct color when necessary. Kyle gives us the rundown and review of the scangrip system along with his entry into the detail mafia.

President of FLEX North America | AFO Project | DETALKS

The Air Force One Detailing Project had a handful of world renowned sponsors that arrived for the event. With FLEX polishers being the primary tool, Levi got to sit down with Bob Eichelberg (President of Flex North America) for an onsite DETALKS! Flex Polishers are one of the primary tools in the detailing industry. The Flex 3401 is the most popular as well as the polisher that was used on Air Force One. Flex polishers boast plenty of power, but also have the capability to "finish" the paintwork. Force rotation polishers are much different than a Dual Action or a typical Rotary. The Flex has a continuous rotation regardless of the amount of pressure used. Hence why it is a great tool when working upside down on the wing of a plane. Bob gives us a brief history lesson on Flex and how they got to where they are today. Even though the company originated overseas, the North American operation is bigger than ever!
